He is an actor and art director who works predominantly in Tamil cinema. He made his debut as a lead in the film titled Kadhalagi, which released in 2010. He made a comeback in 2020 with Amazon Prime Video’s anthology film Putham Pudhu Kaalai. He also played an important role in Soorarai Pottru, starring Suriya, and reprised his role in its Hindi remake ‘Sarfira’, which also stars Akshay KumarOn the personal front, he is married to Rohini Rau, a physician and motivational speaker.
