If you want to take admission in B.Tech but have not got admission, there is a good opportunity at Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology. After the admission process is over, a total of 385 seats are lying vacant in various branches. Admission to the vacant seats will be done through a spot counselling round on September 3. Candidates will be able to re-apply for admission on the university website from August 26 to September 3 at 11 am.

Dean of MMMUT UG Prof VK Mishra said that after completing four rounds of counselling, 804 out of 1189 students turned up physically. A total of 385 students did not turn up. After refunding their fees, the application process starts again. Candidates will have to be physically present at the university on September 3 at 10 am. If candidates who deposited the fee in the first round of counselling do not want to take admission later, they can withdraw the fee till September 11.

Candidates from other federal states also have a chance. In B.Tech, a quota of 10 percent has been set for students from other federal states. There are a total of 103 seats under this concept. There are also about 50 vacant seats for students from other federal states.

Admitted students also have the option to change their branch. Students who have been admitted but have not secured the desired subject now also have the opportunity to change their branch. These students will be able to change their branch by internal sliding. Students who choose the floating option have until August 29 to change their branch. After that, subject-wise details of vacant seats will be displayed on August 31. Only then will it become clear how many seats are vacant in each branch.

Second phase punctual round council on the 13th

Chairman of the Admission Cell Prof. Shriram Chaurasia said that if the seats remain vacant even after the first round of counselling, the second round of counselling will be organised on the 13th. For this, candidates can apply and deposit the counselling fee from September 4 to 13 at 11 am. Candidates will have to report to the college on the 13th at 10 am. How many seats are available in which subject, will be displayed on the 12th at 3 pm.
