F&O Stocks to Buy Today: IOC, Bharti Airtel Among Top 9 Trading Ideas for August 26, 2024

The Indian market is expected to trade higher on Monday, following positive global cues.

Nifty futures closed higher with gains of 0.06%, touching 24,854 levels on Friday. India’s VIX rose 3.88% to 13.50 from 13.01.

On the options front, the maximum open interest (OI) of Call is at the strike of 25,000, followed by the strike of 26,000, while the maximum OI of Put is at the strike of 24,000, followed by the strike of 24,800.

Buying operations are observed at the strikes of 24,800 and 24,850, while selling operations are observed at the strikes of 24,800 and 25,000.

“Options data suggests a wider trading range between 24,400 and 25,200 zones, while an immediate range between 24,600 and 25,000 levels,” said Chandan Taparia, Derivatives Analyst at Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited. “Nifty formed a bullish candle on a weekly basis and closed near its upper band. It now needs to continue to hold above 24,750 zones for an up move towards 24,950 and then 25,100 levels, while support is seen at 24,750 and then 24,650 zones,” he said.
