Delhi University Undergraduate Admissions 2024: Round 2 seat allotment results, check seat details, next step and more

Delhi University has released the Round 2 seat allotment results for undergraduate admissions 2024. Candidates who have applied for the counselling process for the second round can check the seat allotment results on the official website at admission.uod.ac.in.

In a press release, the university shared important details regarding the total number of seats allotted, as well as data on admissions in Round 1 and allotments made in Round 2. The details are as follows:

NUMBER OF SANCTIONED SEATS: 71,600

Round I Admissions as of August 24, 2024

Total confirmed admissions for the first round: 65,775

Candidates who opted for Upgrade: 43,067

Candidates who opted for the freeze: 20,829

Round II Allocations

New allocations in round II: 24,869

Candidates who obtained a higher preference through their upgrade election: 27,554

The University said it will be making extra allocations to optimally fill the quotas in the second round so that the academic period can begin on August 29, 2024.

Furthermore, all the candidates who were rejected in Round I due to invalid certificate/document have been reconsidered under UR category based on their merit and preference, subject to availability of seats in the second round as part of the University policy.

Meanwhile, the University has advised the shortlisted candidates in Round II to log in to their dashboard and accept the allotment before 27th August 2024 till 4:59 pm

Candidates can make the fee payment before 30 August at 04:59 pm, Friday 30 August 2024, until 4:59 pm

The university says that only candidates who make the payment will be eligible for the “upgrade” for the subsequent round. Allotments to performance-based programmes and supernumerary quotas of CW, ECA, Sports and Ward will be announced in the third round of allotments, the schedule for which will be announced soon.

Candidates must bring the following documents during admission:

  • Class 10th Mark Sheet, Class 12th Mark Sheet
  • CUET And result 2024
  • Passport size photograph
  • Government issued address proof like Aadhar, Voter ID, Passport etc.
  • Migration certificate.
  • For category-based admissions, SC, ST and other certificates are required.
