Mumbai: Upcoming action thriller ‘Yudhra’ has already been making headlines ever since the announcement was made and now, creating more excitement, the makers have shared new posters featuring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Malavika Mohanan along with the release date.
In a post on X, producer Farhan Akhtar treated fans to new posters and announced the film’s release date.
The first poster shows Siddhant in an intense and never-before-seen action avatar.
Siddhant is full of rage, with a lollipop in one hand and a gun in the other. Siddhant’s shirt and hands have blood stains.
The second poster adds to the intrigue, introducing the new pair of Siddhant and Malavika Mohanan, both looking intense while covered in blood.
Sharing the poster, he wrote, “Anger has a new name. #Yudhra will hit the screens near you on 20th September.”
The actor underwent rigorous training in mixed martial arts (MMA), kickboxing and jiu-jitsu to prepare for her action-packed role. The film marks Malavika’s foray into Hindi cinema.
Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film is touted to be an action-packed romantic thriller. Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar are producing it under their Excel Entertainment banner.
The film is scheduled for release on September 20, 2024.
Apart from this, Siddhant Chaturvedi will be seen in the much-awaited film ‘Dhadak 2’ alongside Triptii Dimri. In May, Karan Johar made the announcement on his Instagram account.
Sharing the announcement video, he wrote in Hindi: “Once upon a time, there lived a king and a queen. They were from different social classes, and that’s the end of the story.”
He added, “Presenting Dhadak 2 starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri. Directed by Shazia Iqbal. #Dhadak2 in theatres on 22nd November 2024.”
Directed by Shazia Iqbal, ‘Dhadak 2’ is a story that explores love and challenges social norms. The film follows Siddhant’s character as he navigates a love story that breaks societal expectations and class barriers.
It is produced by Zee Studios, Dharma Productions and Cloud 9 Pictures.
