Hyundai India is preparing to launch the updated version of the Alcazar The SUV will hit the Indian market on September 9. Ahead of the official event, the brand has revealed a few details of the vehicle. Starting with the exterior design, the brand has now revealed the interiors of the SUV. As per the images, the vehicle has a design that seems to be inspired by the Creta, a mid-size SUV that is currently sold in India.

The 20-inch fully digital instrument cluster and 10.25-inch infotainment screen are complemented by a dual-tone interior that combines brown and dark blue. The second row of the car will be equipped with captain’s chairs with large hearts and foldable extensions. The brand has also placed a center console between the two captain’s chairs. This will result in a good space between the seat armrests.

The brand had already revealed images of the SUV, which show off its details. The Hyundai Alcazar has an all-new front end as per the images. H-shaped daytime running lights have now been added to accompany the new headlamp. Along with the new daytime running lights, it also gets an LED light bar that spans the width of the bonnet. Many may argue that this look bears a striking resemblance to the one the brand employed on the outgoing Creta. The brand has also fitted a new grille and bumper. Similar updates have been made to the bumper and taillights at the rear.

The Hyundai Alcazar will be powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 160 PS of power. This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. There is also the option of a 1.5-litre turbodiesel engine that produces 115 PS of power. It comes with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
