Rajasthan CET 2024: RSSB removes negative marking; syllabus and exam pattern scrapped

Rajasthan CET 2024: In a major relief to aspiring candidates preparing for the Common Entrance Test 2024, the Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has announced that there will be no negative marking for the CET 2024 examination scheduled to be held on 21, 22, 25 and 26 October.

Candidates should note that RSSB will close the online registration process for CET 2024 on 7 September 2024.

The RSSB, in a notification, said the board decided to remove the negative rating from the Rajasthan Common Eligibility Test This year.

RSSB president Major General Alok Raj told the media, “The board had planned for negative marking in the CET graduation exam. Following negative feedback from students, it has now decided to change this process. In such a situation, students will now be able to participate in the CET without negative marking.”

This move brings the CET in line with other key eligibility exams in Rajasthan such as REET, PTET, SET and NET, which also do not have negative marking schemes.
