What is the age limit to appear for BPSC 70th Combined Civil Services Examination?
The minimum age limit of candidates for the 70th BPSC examination has been fixed at 20 years, while the maximum age limit varies for different categories. The maximum age limit for general male candidates is 37 years, the maximum age limit for general and OBC female candidates is 40 years, and the maximum age limit for SC and ST candidates is 42 years.
Important details related to age limit to appear for BPSC exam
There is no restriction on the number of attempts as long as candidates meet the age criteria.
For public servants with at least three years of continuous service:
Number of attempts: 3
Relaxation of the upper age limit: 5 years
For people with disabilities (PwD), there is a 10-year relaxation in the upper age limit.
Ex-servicemen not older than 53 years can avail three years relaxation in BPSC age and number of years of service.
