Amitabh Bachchan promises to fund KBC contestant Nareshi Meena’s brain tumor expenses

Amitabh Bachchan is winning hearts after assuring one Who will become crorepati? Contestant Nareshi Meena said she will bear all the expenses of her brain tumor.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan was emotional on hearing about the contestant’s health condition. Nareshi told him that he had once treated the tumour but the doctors were unable to remove it completely due to its awkward position. The contestant also said that she needs to undergo proton therapy, which is an expensive treatment, and that she came on the show to earn money for her treatment. After hearing her story, Big B promised to bear all the expenses of her treatment.

Recently, Nareshi told Indianexpress.com that she managed to shut many mouths with her participation in KBC 16. She also claimed that Amitabh Bachchan’s team has contacted her and they are helping her with the treatment, asking her to select the doctors and hospitals where she wants to get her therapy. They will directly transfer the money to that hospital as much as needed.

Nareshi also managed to win Rs 50 lakh from KBC, which will go into her pocket, while the amount required for her treatment will be paid by Big B himself.

Sitting next to Amitabh Bachchan was like a dream come true for her. As they engaged in a long conversation, Nareshi said, “Meeting Big B and talking to him, it was all possible because of KBC. These are the best moments of my life. People come up to me now and tell me that I did wonders on the show. I have shut many mouths during my stint on KBC. My confidence has also improved.”

She also said that she would give her mother the jewelry she sold for her treatment and that she will also give her aunt some earrings after she returns from the show.

“I’m glad that they’ve become a bit famous because of me. They’ve been very happy. People have congratulated me. When I came back home, my whole village threw me a welcome party,” Nareshi said.

Nareshi has been trying to get into KBC since 2017 but managed to make it to the show after seven years. Nareshi also mentioned that no one thought she could be there. She didn’t even tell anyone about it until KBC people came to shoot.

Nareshi, who hails from Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, said she is happy that she has not been a burden to anyone given her health condition.
