Indian Railways: The names of 8 railway stations in Lucknow division have now been changed. The stations whose names have been changed include Kasimpur Halt, Jaish, Misrauli, Bani, Nihalgarh, Akbarganj, Wazirganj Halt and Fursatganj. The name of Fursatganj railway station has been changed to Tapeshwar Nath Dham. The list of new names has also been released. The new names are named after martyrs and religious places.
Eight train stations to be renamed
Among the 8 railway stations whose names have been changed now, Misrauli has been renamed Maa Kalikan Dham. While Bani has been renamed Swami Paramhans, Nihalgarh has been renamed Maharaja Bijli Pasi. Akbarganj has been renamed Maa Ahorva Bhavani Dham. Wazirganj stop has been renamed Amar Shaheed Bhale Sultan and Fursatganj has been renamed Tapeshwar Nath Dham.
