Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang lists dishwasher and waiter jobs as part of his work experience on LinkedIn

Billionaire Nvidia co-founder and CEO Jensen Huang has listed “Dishwasher, Busboy, and Waiter” as part of his work experience on his LinkedIn profile.

Earlier in his life, the 11th richest person in the world, with a net worth of 111 billion dollarsHe worked at the Denny’s restaurant chain, where he washed dishes and cleaned bathrooms as a teenager.

“Remember, I used to be a dishwasher. I mean it. I used to clean toilets. I’ve cleaned a lot of toilets. I’ve cleaned more toilets than all of you (the audience) put together. And some of them I just can’t stop looking at,” Huang said while talking about his job at Denny’s.

“You can’t show me an assignment that is below my level. I don’t do it just because it is below my level or not. If you send me something and you want my opinion on it, I can be helpful to you and in my review share with you how I reasoned about it, I have made a contribution to you. I have made it possible for you to see how I reasoned about something,” said the 61-year-old.

Huang was born in Taiwan. His family moved to Thailand when he was 5, and he was sent to live with an uncle in the United States when he was 9.

He had a difficult childhood in the United States as an immigrant before earning degrees in electrical engineering, including a master’s degree at Stanford. At age 30, he founded Nvidia, which is now one of the most valuable companies in the world.
