According Fall detectorAccording to a website that monitors service outages, the outage affected tens of thousands of users, particularly in the United States, where more than 36,500 issues were reported during the peak of the incident on Tuesday. Other affected regions include Canadawith over 3,300 reports, and the UK, where over 1,600 users experienced problems.

This outage comes after a series of technical issues that have plagued X since it was acquired by Elon Musk in 2022 for $44 billion. The platform has suffered several similar outages, including an earlier incident in August. Musk, who has been outspoken about the platform’s technical shortcomings, previously referred to its codebase as “fragile,” according to several media reports.

Amid this latest outage, users reported receiving error messages such as “Something went wrong” and “Please try reloading.” Although the issue caused significant inconvenience, the service was gradually restored and the platform started working normally after a short while.
