Admissions are now open at the University of Birmingham, Dubai for the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology programme. The programme curriculum covers the theory and application of modern psychology, including social psychology, human neuroscience, psychopharmacology and child development.
The program covers a broad spectrum of human behaviors and cognitive processes, from basic activities such as feeding to more complex skills such as language and social interactions.
The programme begins with foundation modules in psychology, research methods and related skills in the first two years, followed by advanced specialist modules in the final year, providing cutting-edge knowledge in selected psychological areas.
Program execution:
The Psychology degree is designed with a common curriculum covering all the fundamental aspects of modern psychology. In addition, in the third year, students can choose from a number of specialist modules, allowing them to focus on cutting-edge, advanced areas in the field.
Course dates: September 2024
Entry requirements: Between 75-85% of Standard 12 for CBSE exam completers.
Application process: Applications for September 2024 are now open. There is no application fee.
Tuition: The annual tuition fee for entry in 2024 is AED 126,309 (approximately USD 35,000) per year of study and can be paid in installments.
Scholarship: Scholarship options are designed to benefit all students and financial rewards can be carried over throughout the entire program at foundation, undergraduate and graduate levels.
For admission in September 2024, scholarships of up to 30% will be offered to all students based on academic performance by the university, the official press release said.
