CC Gong, co-founder of Montage and principal of Menlo Ventures, posted on the X platform about her role in ensuring her boyfriend, Mihail Eric, co-founder of Storia AI, is well fed, his clothes washed, and his hair trimmed while enduring YC’s demanding schedule.
His post included a photo of Eric passed out on the couch, laptop still open, capturing the exhaustion that often accompanies startup life.
Gong captioned it: “My boyfriend is in YC and this is what I find when I come home on a Friday night. I make sure he’s well fed, wash his clothes and cut his hair. I give him feedback, introduce him to clients and encourage him. YC girlfriends should have the right to work hard.”
