Application for 170 PhD seats at the University of Hyderabad has been started
Institute: University of Hyderabad. This is a central university and has 170 seats for PhDs in various subjects.
The university will grant admission to the PhD programme through the All India Entrance Examination.
Course : PhD Programme (Session 2024-25). From here you can study English (total seats 6), Urdu (total seats 2), Applied Linguistics (8 seats), History (8 seats), Political Science (10 seats), Sociology (20 seats), Anthropology (9 seats), Education (2 seats), Regional Studies (5 seats), Gender Studies (5 seats), Economics (28 seats), Dance (3 seats), Art History & Visual Studies (1 seat), Communication (3 seats) and many other subjects. You can do PhD.
eligibility requirements: There must be a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55 percent marks. You can get detailed information about the subject eligibility from the notification.
