Flipkart-backed Super.money and Utkarsh Small Finance Bank partner to launch a credit card with a limit of just ₹90

Backed by Flipkart Group, super.money has partnered with Utkarsh Small Finance Bank to introduce a new co-branded RuPay credit card. This is a major step in integrating credit cards with UPI.

The card, called superCard, is a world first and is designed to suit a wide range of users by offering a credit limit starting at ₹90 and going up to ₹9 lakh.

This new product aims to expand access to credit in different segments.

Users can get the superCard by making a deposit starting from just ₹100.

The deposit not only supports the credit card but also earns interest.

This will allow cardholders to benefit from both access to credit and the return on their savings.

The superCard integrates with super.money

‘Scan and Pay’ feature, which allows users to make UPI transactions using their credit card.

This dual functionality will support regular merchant payments and UPI transactions.

The card also comes with a comprehensive rewards program, offering cash back on all eligible transactions.

Specifically, users can get 5% off on Myntra, 3% off on Cleartrip and 2% off on purchases on Flipkart, along with 0.5% cashback on other transactions.

Prakash Sikaria, Founder and CEO of super.money, launched the secure credit card at the Global Fintech Fest 2024.

He noted that while UPI has successfully addressed demand-side challenges, supply-side barriers still persist.

“This universal credit card product paves the way for financial inclusion for millions of Indians who were previously excluded from conventional credit. Our cheapest variant, with a limit of $1, is a world first,” he said.
