New teaser hints that the upcoming motorcycle will be based on the Jawa 42
Classic legends The brand is setting the stage to launch a new model in the Indian market on September 3. Ahead of the launch, the company has been teasing the motorcycle. To expand the list of teasers, the brand has released another video clip. This new animated video offers a glimpse of the motorcycle. This comes after the recent launch of the updated version of the java 42Meanwhile, Classic Legends also launched the BSA Gold Star 650 in the country.
The brand has given some hints: the upcoming model will be a new member of the Jawa 42 family. As the name suggests, the bike resembles the fuel tank of a Jawa 42. It will have an asymmetrical fuel filler cap. New elements could include a new cover around the headlight, which could be one of the distinctive features. The brand will also give the car a new design for the side and rear panels.
He New bike The brand is expected to feature a larger 334cc liquid-cooled engine than the one used on the Jawa 350. This engine generates 22.19 bhp of power and 28.1 Nm of peak torque. This power is transferred to the wheels via a 6-speed transmission. If the bike comes equipped with the aforementioned unit, it will be an upgrade over the 294cc J-Panther engine used on the outgoing Jawa 42 bikes. The brand is likely to take the opportunity to update the frame, brakes, and suspension as well.
The brand has not revealed any details about the upcoming model. However, with the specifications mentioned above, we can expect it to be priced in the range of Rs 200,000. Once launched, it will compete with other bikes in the segment i.e. models like Royal Enfield Classic 350, Benelli Imperiale 400 and others.
