Quant Mutual Fund dominates the list of schemes with negative returns in a month

Around 16 actions mutual funds have offered negative returns in the last month. A deep analysis of the data showed that out of 16 funds that offered negative returns, eight were from Quantitative mutual fund.

The top eight funds on the losers list were Quant Mutual Fund. Quant ELSS Tax Saver Fund lost 1.08% in the past month. Quant Value Fund lost around 1.03% in the said period. Quant Large Cap Fund and Quantitative Mid-Cap Fund It lost 0.97% and 0.91% respectively.


The Quant Flexi Cap Fund and the Quant Focused Fund lost around 0.89% and 0.84% ​​respectively. The other two Quant funds (the Quant Active Fund and the Quant Large & Mid Cap Fund) posted negative returns of around 0.63% and 0.62% respectively over the same period.

The other eight schemes on the list belonged to the categories of flexicap, ELSS, largecap, midcap, smallcap and value funds. Kotak Flexicap Fund lost 0.57%. Kotak ELSS Tax Saver Fund returned negative 0.26%.

Only one small-cap fund on the losers list, Aditya Birla SL Small Cap Fund, lost around 0.15% in the last month.

Please note that the performance mentioned above is for equity categories like Large Cap, Mid Cap, Large & Mid Cap, Flexible Cap, Focused Funds, ELSS, Small Cap, Value Funds and Contra Funds.

Quantitative mutual fund
Quant Mutual Fund manages 27 mutual funds that include debt and equity. The top four performing funds according to the fund manager were from sector and thematic fund categories. Quant Healthcare Fund, the top performer for the fund manager, returned 6.32%. Quant Business Cycle Fund and Quant Commodities Fund returned 3.28% and 3.21% respectively over the past month. Quant Manufacturing Fund returned 1.88% over the same period.

Quantitative small cap fundQuant Mutual Fund, the largest fund managed by assets, returned 1.50% over the past month. Quant Gilt Fund and Quant Liquid Plan returned 0.80% and 0.56% respectively over the period.

The biggest loser was Quant Infrastructure Fund, which lost 3.51%, followed by Quant Absolute Fund, which returned 1.62% over the past month. Quant Quantamental Fund and Quant PSU Fund lost 1.51% and 1.27% respectively over the same period.

Quant Consumption Fund and Quant BFSI Fund posted negative returns of around 1.15% and 1.10% respectively in the last one-month period.
