Wipro: Priority to honour offers made earlier; plan to hire 12,000 employees by FY25: Wipro

The comments take on significance at a time when the tech industry is going through repeated rounds of job cuts.

“At Wipro, our first priority is to onboard Next Generation Associates (NGAs), who were previously appointed offers“In the first quarter of FY25, we onboarded approximately 3,000 such NGAs,” he said in a statement to PTI.

Wipro is planning a total hiring of 10,000-12,000 NGAs and will hire in the areas of GenAI, cybersecurity and cloud, it said.
