MG Windsor EV to be launched in India on September 11. Following the success of ZS EV and Comet EV, JSW MG Motor is all set to introduce its third electric car in India. Bookings for the Windsor EV have reportedly started unofficially at select dealerships ahead of its launch in the second week of next month. Windsor EV is based on the Chinese-made Wuling Cloud EV electric crossover.

MG Motor has already confirmed that the Windsor EV will be offered with the largest screen in the segment. The automaker has showcased a massive 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The automaker has also confirmed that the electric vehicle will have rear seats with 135-degree reclining feature to provide a lounge-like experience. Apart from these two, the electric crossover is expected to have features like wireless smartphone connectivity, 360-degree surround-view camera, automatic climate control, ambient lighting, fully digital instrument cluster, and many more. It can be offered with a 50.6 kWh battery that can boost its range up to around 460 kilometers on a single charge.

Mercedes Maybach EQS will be launched in India on September 5. This is an ultra-luxury electric car. The Maybach EQS will be the second electric car launched by the automaker this year after the EQA. It will also be the most expensive electric vehicle in the German automaker’s lineup in India.

Based on the EQS SUV, it comes with a special dual-tone exterior colour theme and Maybach badging, among other features. Mercedes will bring the Maybach EV to India via the completely built-up unit (CBU) route. With a range of around 600 km, the Maybach EQS electric SUV promises to generate 649 bhp of power and 950 Nm of peak torque. It can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.4 seconds and its top speed is electronically limited to 210 kmph.

Chinese electric car maker BYD is all set to launch its first electric MPV e6 in its latest facelifted version. The e6 electric MPV was recently introduced in the global market as the M6. The e6 was the first electric car launched by an EV manufacturer in India three years ago. BYD has shared a sneak peek of the upcoming electric vehicle ahead of its possible unveiling next month.

The new e6 electric MPV can be offered with two battery packs including 55.4 kWh and 71.8 kWh units. This battery can offer a range of 420 kilometers to 530 kilometers on a single charge. It is capable of generating a power of 201 hp and a maximum torque of 310 Nm.
