UP Police Constable Exam 2024: A big news comes amid the Uttar Pradesh Police Constable recruitment exam. The police have arrested a person for appearing in the exam with a false name. Commissioner of Police Lakshmi Singh said that on August 30, during the Uttar Pradesh Police Examination, candidate Shiv Yadav was caught giving the exam with the false name of Vimlesh Kumar. In this case, following the complaint of Sub-Inspector Shailesh Kumar Verma, the Badalpur Police Station registered a case under Section 319(2) of the Indian Code of Justice and Section 13 of the Uttar Pradesh Public Examination Act, 1998. The accused has been arrested.
UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam was held on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August 2024. The admit card for this was released on the official website. The exam was conducted at 67 centres across Uttar Pradesh. The exam was conducted in two shifts, the first shift was from 10 am to 12 pm and the second shift was from 3 pm to 5 pm. Around 48 lakh candidates appeared for the exam to fill 60,244 posts.
