Man finds worm in Pulao at popular Noida restaurant; staff respond saying…

Noida: A happy lunch for three friends at a popular restaurant in Greater Noida’s Knowledge Park took a disturbing turn when they found a worm in their vegetable pulao.

The restaurant’s response brought the matter to the attention of the Food Safety Department.

Aditya Bhati, a lawyer working at the Surajpur District Court, shared the disturbing experience on social media.

He said he and two of his friends were having dinner at the restaurant when they discovered a worm in the vegetable pulao.

“We had already paid the bill of Rs 2,000. When we informed the restaurant management about the worm, they claimed that it had fallen from above and insisted that nothing could be done,” Bhati added.

Even after repeated complaints, the staff dismissed the issue and failed to provide any solution. Bhati took to social media to recount her experience and accused the restaurant of endangering public health.

In his post, the advocate tagged the district administration and the Chief Minister, urging immediate action against the restaurant management. After Bhati’s post went viral, a team from the Food Safety Department visited the restaurant to collect samples.

Food Department Deputy Commissioner Sarvesh Mishra said the department came to know about the incident through social media. Further investigations into the matter are underway.
