Odisha Crime News: A smuggler from Maharashtra has been arrested in Odisha. He has been caught with ganja. This person, a resident of Thane, Maharashtra, has been arrested by officials and employees of RPF Rourkela Post and CIB/Chakradharpur.
Smuggler captured during special investigation operation
A special operation was underway to detect illegal transportation of narcotics and drugs on railways and railway premises. Meanwhile, a ganja smuggler was caught with 7.50 kg of ganja. The estimated value of the seized ganja is said to be Rs 75,000.

Rourkela Excise Department to take further steps
During interrogation he revealed his name as Santosh Sakaram. He said his age is 39 years. He is a resident of Vikhroli, PS- Vikhroli, District- Thane (Maharashtra). On further interrogation, he confessed that there was ganja inside the bag. On investigation, 7.50 kg of ganja was found inside the bag. He has been handed over to the Excise Department, Rourkela for legal action.
