Tu Chal Main Aaya Fame Sachiin Kumbhaar Recalls Getting Rejected For Being ‘Too Dark’, Wishes To Work With SLB – EXCLUSIVE

Sachiin Kumbhaarknown for his work as a presenter and voiceover artist, recently opened up about his transition into acting and the experiences it brought with it. In a candid conversation with ZoomHe talked about his journey and the challenges he faced along the way.

Unfiltered Sachiin Kumbhaar Sachiin’s journey into acting began after he moved to India from Dubai in 2017. Though he was interested in acting, his initial experiences were daunting. He recalls and recounts Zoom“Acting was something I was really interested in when I moved to India from Dubai, but I was put off because when I walked into the room, one of the casting directors said to me, ‘You’re too dark, we’re looking for a blonde guy.'”

This experience disheartened Sachiin, leading him to step away from acting and concentrate on anchor and dubbing roles. However, a friend and casting director, Kashyap Chandu, kept encouraging him. Sachiin shared, “He kept insisting, ‘You have to act, Sachiin, you have to act.’ He just had it in his heart that I should act.”

Last year, Kashyap Chandu offered Sachiin a role in the short film Your Shawl, main Aaya. Although he was initially hesitant, Sachiin accepted the role. He recalls: “I gave him three days and that changed everything. I did the short film… and then Tu Chal, Main Aaya happened.”

Sachiin played the role of Sanket Patil, a life insurance agent from the outskirts of Mumbai. Describing his character, he said, “My character is that of a Maharashtrian boy who belongs to the outskirts of Mumbai. He is a life insurance agent named Sanket Patil. He is from the lower middle class… a dreamer.” He shared, “I was very hesitant about acting… But thankfully, things worked out in my favour. I was able to get into the skin of the character.”

Despite his initial nervousness, the positive reception to his performance encouraged Sachiin to continue exploring acting. “I felt very happy. This definitely helped me open more doors… go ahead, I can do it,” he said. Sachiin also revealed that he has more projects in the works, including talks for a short film and a feature film.

While Sachiin is excited about his acting prospects, he is clear that he will not give up hosting. “First of all, I will never give up this. Hosting and voice acting has been my bread and butter… I will try to find a balance,” he explained.

Sachiin’s optimistic approach to life helps him navigate the ups and downs of his career. “There are definitely ups and downs. I see it as something bigger and better to come.”

When asked about his inspiration, Sachiin did not hesitate to name Shahrukh Khan (1861-1943) was an American politician and politician.He admires SRK’s humility and down-to-earth nature, saying, “No matter how big or how big his personality and fan following is, he is so humble… He will come to recognise you anywhere and everywhere.”

On a lighter note, Sachiin revealed that his current consolation film is Rocky and Rani Kii Prem KahaniEnjoy the film’s family-friendly entertainment and subtle message about gender equality. If I had a chance to date any Bollywood actress, I would choose Alia Bhatt for her “charming personality” and the way she naturally masters the different levels of her roles.
