Shahpur Patori: Inspector Shailesh Kumar Singh (55), a resident of Chhapra, posted at Patori police station, has been referred to PMCH in a suspicious condition. According to information received, the said inspector was sleeping in his camp located next to the police station. As he did not come out of the house till late in the night, a policeman called him on his mobile. But no response was received. When his colleagues came to his room, they heard his moaning. This information was handed over to the police station in-charge. As soon as the information was received, the police station in-charge Kunal Chandra Singh admitted him to the sub-divisional hospital. The doctors present at the sub-divisional hospital referred him to PMCH in a critical condition. According to the hospital doctor Dr Navneet Kumar, the possibility of consuming poisonous substances has been expressed. He has been sent to PMCH for better treatment. The police station in-charge has expressed the possibility of brain haemorrhage. However, during a search of the sub-inspector’s room, the police did not find any material that could confirm that he had consumed poison.

Shahpur Patori: A youth drowned while taking bath in Chandpura village under the police station area. Ankit Kumar, son of Pawan Mahato, a resident of the said village, had gone to bathe in the 20 Baya river. While taking bath, he went into deep water and drowned. After much effort, the locals fished out the body of the deceased youth from the river. As soon as the information was received, the Patori police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.

Samastipur News: Crime News: Battery and camera stolen from Jeevika’s office.

Samastipur: The battery and the CCTV camera were stolen by breaking the lock of Jeevika’s office located in Jitwarpur office block under Mufassil police station area. In this regard, Anjani Kumar, a resident of Pokhariya, Begusarai district, block project director posted at Jeevika’s office, submitted an application to the local police and lodged a complaint of theft. He was told that like every day, Jeevika came to the office on last Thursday morning. Where I saw that the lock of the office gate was broken. Two batteries and a CCTV camera were missing from inside the room. Station House Officer Pinky Prasad said that an FIR was registered in light of the application. Further action will be taken.
