I was afraid of this happening because the Election Commission has gone all out. The Election Commissioner did not even visit this state before the Lok Sabha elections. The Lok Sabha elections were held in four phases in scorching heat. An apology was sought after this. He said that ADR reports that the votes counted are more than the poll votes. An inquiry was called for, but silence was also kept on this.

On the other hand, BJP state general secretary and MP Aditya Sahu responded at JMM’s Supriyo Bhattacharya’s press conference. He said that JMM is looking forward to the upcoming assembly elections. They see more problems in neighbouring states than the problems in the state. JMM leaders want to calm minds by blaming the Election Commission for the pain of JMM’s disintegration.

All parties will have more opportunities to campaign

Aditya Sahu recalled that during the visit of the Election Commission team to Jharkhand, the same JMM leaders had demanded to hold elections in Jharkhand on time, citing the example of festivals like Dussehra, Diwali and Chhath. JMM should say that if festivals are important for the people of Jharkhand, why do they have objections if the Haryana Election Commission made some changes due to festivals?

Aditya Sahu said that JMM should know that if there is an extension in the dates, all parties will get a chance to campaign more. Not just the BJP. He said that who influences the elections with money and power and who distributes the money had been made public in the letter of JMM MLA Sameer Mohanty.

Date changed due to cultural festival: Aditya Sahu

Aditya Sahu said that the date of elections in Haryana was changed due to the cultural festival being held there. A big festival is being held in memory of Guru Jambheshwar of the Bishnoi community and a large number of people from Haryana participate in that festival. Therefore, the Rashtriya Lok Dal Party of Haryana along with the BJP had also submitted a written request to the Election Commission to reconsider the dates. He said that Supriyo Bhattacharya should strengthen the power of his memory. It should be found out if there are any side effects.
