New Delhi: The Lakhpati Didi scheme is run by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government to financially empower women. The government is running this scheme as a campaign and the central government has set a target of making three crore women millionaires under this scheme. Under Lakhpati Didi Yojana, women are provided with loans ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh and that too without any interest. So that women can start their own business.

If a woman wants to start her own business, she gets a free loan of up to Rs 5 lakh. This means that women will have to pay only the basic amount. No interest will be charged on it. Through which women can become self-reliant.

Lakhpati Didi Scheme To avail the benefits of the Lakhpati Didi Scheme, women will need to be members of a self-help group. The benefits of this scheme are primarily provided to rural women. Loans are provided to women through self-help groups. For this, women need to visit the group office and submit all the necessary documents along with their business plan.
Training for skills development within the framework of the plan.
Under the Lakhpati Didi scheme to financially empower women, training related to financial and skill development is provided. In addition, women are taught many types of skills. In addition, they are also provided with necessary advice to start a business. After completing the training, women can apply for loans to start many businesses such as agriculture, milk production, poultry farming, handicraft work, LED bulb manufacturing and animal husbandry.
