Non-hospital medical tourism startup Global Care (Lavanya Medicare Solutions Pvt Ltd) has raised $3 million in a Series A round funds round led by 35North India Discovery Fund – II.
The startup plans to use the capital raised Building clinical excellence through strategic consulting and facilitating convenient access to patient care.
What does Global Care do?
Founded in 2016 by Rajeev Taneja, Global Care aims to unite health care Disparities across the globe. Offering cutting-edge medical care in a variety of specialties in countries such as India, Turkey, Dubai, Egypt, Germany and Thailand.
The startup acts as a healthcare consultancy and focuses on creating clinical corridors and supporting patients who are unable to receive treatment in their home countries. This approach aims to create a global ecosystem of clinical services.
Focused on further expansion
With the new funding, Global Care plans to expand its services internationally, with a particular focus on regions such as East Africa, Francophone Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, SAARC nations, Southeast Asia and North Africa.
The startup plans to strengthen its presence in these regions by establishing strategic alliances and building infrastructure to support the needs of patients in these areas.
