Navya Naveli Nanda Admission at IIM Ahmedabad

The recent news of Navya Naveli Nanda getting admission into the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad has become a hot topic on the internet. Many people want to know if Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter met the admission criteria for the prestigious institution, which is usually placed in the 99-100 percentile.

A curious X user recently asked and tagged an associate professor at IIM Ahmedabad: “Professor Promila Agarwal, Navya, who reports to IIMA on SM’s big news, did she really score that incredible 99.99 percentile?”

What did the teacher say about Navya Naveli Nanda’s percentile and CAT exam?

The professor was quick to respond and wrote, “You have a solid CV. By the way, you don’t need to have a CAT. Anyway, kudos to everyone for being brave enough to enroll in a rigorous programme.” She hilariously added with a smiley emoji, “PS: Like other students, I look forward to your posts complaining about the tough life at IIMA.”

Further, Prof. Promila Agarwal provided a link to clarify the “eligibility criteria.” As stated in the official IIMA link, the eligibility measures for the “Blended Postgraduate Programme (BPGP)” state that the applicant must be a working professional and a businessman with at least 3 years of full-time work experience. The candidate must be at least 24 years of age (no upper age limit) and possess a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent (minimum of 15 years of study) in any field.

One of the BEST professors I have ever had the honour of learning from.” Learning is combined with regular on-campus sessions under the Blended PGP.
