UP News: The Uttar Pradesh government had ordered all the state government employees to provide details of their complete movable and immovable assets. The employees had to upload the details of their assets on the state government website. But after this order, around 2.45 lakh state employees and officials did not give details of their assets. Now the Yogi government of the state has come down hard on these employees. The state government has suspended salaries for the month of August to the officials who did not provide details.
So far, only 71 percent of employees have disclosed details about their assets.
Following the instructions given to the employees and officers of the Uttar Pradesh state government, only around 71 per cent of the employees have so far provided details of their movable and immovable assets. Let us tell you that the Yogi government of the state has made it mandatory for the state employees to provide details of their properties online on the lines of IAS, IPS, PPS, PCS officers in the state. However, as of now there is no need for teachers, employees of corporations, employees of autonomous institutions to share information about their assets.
The Ministry of the Interior asked for more time
The DGP Headquarters has sent a letter to the Appointments Department seeking more time to submit the asset details of its personnel. In this letter written by the DGP Headquarters, it is said that due to festivals and police recruitment examination, many police officers have not been able to provide their asset details on time. If sources are to be believed, now this date may be increased for the Home Department.
The salary can only be released after providing property information.
Following the strict decision of the Uttar Pradesh administration to suspend the salaries of employees, it is now believed that the salaries of officers and employees whose salaries were suspended during the month of August will be released only when they upload the information about their assets on the website.
