UP Police Constable Exam was held on 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31 August 2024 at various examination centres across the state. The exam was held in two shifts – first shift from 10 am to 12 pm and second shift from 3 pm to 5 pm
The test was conducted at 1,174 examination centres located in 67 districts across the state. To curb malpractices, the board arranged for biometric verification, which includes fingerprints and facial recognition of the candidates.
A total of 28.91 lakh candidates appeared for the examination dates of August 23, 24 and 25, and around 19.26 lakh candidates appeared for the examinations held on August 30 and 31, 2024.
According to a board official, 31.38 percent of the candidates skipped the exam during the first phase of the exam. Around 31.72 percent of the candidates skipped the exam on the first day.
