His name is Bunty Vadiva, who played a wonderful game while demonstrating his extraordinary knowledge. Adverse circumstances did not break his courage and he worked hard to accumulate knowledge.
Till now no one has become a millionaire on the sets of Bigg Boss 16, now Bunty should answer this question, whether he is able to earn 1 crore or not, will be known in today’s episode. Today we take a look at Bunty’s story, how he continued to study even in adverse circumstances and progressed and today he has become the first tribal contestant to make it to the KBC stage.
There was no TV in the house, so how did I find out about KBC?
Nowadays, there is hardly any house where there is no television. But Bunty Wadia, who came on the KBC stage, is one of those who does not have a television at home. He said that he did not even have money to study. The parents brought them up by working as daily wage labourers. When he was in 12th, he got a mobile phone and through it he came to know that there is a show where one can participate based on knowledge and also earn money. So what was the hard work? Today he is sitting on the KBC stage stool and has earned Rs 25 lakh till yesterday.
He came to the sets of KBC with Rs 260
Bunty Wadia comes from a poor tribal family. He himself mentioned on the KBC stage that when he came to the set and started the game, he had only Rs 260 in his account. But now he has become rich. Bunty dedicated the first income cheque to his father through Amitabh Bachchan. Everyone got emotional at this moment. Bunty said that he would first pay off his father’s debt. Bunty said that he had come to the set for the KBC audition with his friend standing on one leg on the bus. This was his penance which paid off today.
What level of education does Bunty Wadia have?
Bunty Wadia, a son of a tribal family, has been keen on studies. He did not give up his studies even in poverty and graduated in Computer Science. Bunty is currently preparing for a third grade post in the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. Bunty spoke about his life and journey on Amitabh Bachchan’s show Kaun Banega Crorepati. He said that there was no electricity at his house so he used to study with the light from his phone’s flashlight.
