1 / 7Hyundai presents the Ioniq 5 XRT focused on off-roading: Hyundai has officially unveiled the Ioniq 5 XRT, a new variant designed for off-road use. This rugged version of the Ioniq 5 brings distinctive styling cues and performance upgrades to the 2025 Ioniq 5 lineup. Notably, the XRT is one of the first Hyundai vehicles to be equipped with Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, allowing it to access more than 17,000 Tesla Supercharger stations.

This model is 23mm higher than the regular Ioniq 5, offering greater ground clearance. The vehicle’s approach angle is now 19.8 degrees, an increase of 2.3 degrees from the standard version, while the departure angle has improved by 4.6 degrees, reaching 30 degrees.

While Hyundai hasn’t released specific power figures for the XRT, it’s expected to produce outputs similar to the standard Ioniq 5 AWD, which offers 321 bhp and 605 Nm of torque. The vehicle is equipped with the larger 84 kWh battery pack seen on the rest of the Ioniq 5 lineup. However, Hyundai hasn’t provided official range figures for the XRT yet.

The brand is expected to introduce the updated Ioniq 5 range, including the XRT, in the Indian market in the near future. Globally, the Ioniq 5 XRT joins the standard model and the high-performance ‘N’ variant in Hyundai’s Ioniq 5 lineup.

It features a new suspension system that raises the vehicle by 23 mm, along with 18-inch alloy wheels and all-terrain tires. The front and rear bumpers have been updated with digital camouflage cladding, and the vehicle includes functional red-painted tow hooks. Two exclusive exterior paint colors are available, adding to the XRT’s unique appearance.
