Praveen Kumar will be back in action on Day 9 at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games as India gears up for another action-packed day on Friday, September 6. India added one more medal to extend its record medal haul to 25 at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games on Thursday.
After breaking their previous best medal record at the Paralympic Games, the Indian contingent is looking to finish as high as possible in the medal table. At the end of the events on Day 8, India is at 16th position in the medal table with 5 gold, 9 silver and 11 bronze medals.
India will go for more medals on day nine with ace Praveen Kumar in the men’s high jump final. Kasthuri Rajamani (women’s up to 67kg final), Bhavanaben Ajabaji Chaudhary (women’s javelin throw final), Soman Rana and Hokato Hotozhe Sema (men’s shot put final) and Dipesh Kumar (men’s javelin throw final) are among the leading medal contenders for India in Paris on Friday.
