Manish MalhotraThe pallu, crafted in an iridescent fuchsia pink, features authentic zari work, intricately woven with silver and gold to create a wide, opulent border. This exquisite detailing is an ode to ancient Indian techniques and textiles.
Styled by celebrity stylist Priyanka Kapadia Badani, the vibrant saree was paired with a strapless champagne gold embellished blouse with a plunging neckline. The embellished tube blouse introduced a novelty to traditional draping, reinventing its regality and old-world charm with a chic, contemporary twist.
Alia’s accessories were equally grand and alluring. She chose traditional fine jewellery from Jaipur-based label Sunita Shekhawata and wore the Padmapriya necklace, earrings, maagtika and bangles that use French enamelling and traditional meenakari technique to create the auspicious lotus flower motif.
