Many people think that Rakesh lost all his hair due to some disease. But it is not so, rather he shaved his hair off due to some vow.
In fact, before the release of the film Khudgarj, he made a promise at the Tirupati temple that if the film was successful, he would shave off all his hair. The film was such a success that he remembered his promise and shaved off his hair. After this, he never let his hair grow again.
