Uzbekistan Airways to launch direct Tashkent-Goa flights from October 27

Goa is all set to welcome travellers from Uzbekistan as the country’s flag carrier has announced that it will operate twice-weekly flights from Tashkent to Goa starting October 27, 2024. The new international route, served by Uzbekistan Airways via an advanced Airbus A320 Neo, will connect Tashkent to Manohar International Airport (MOPA), opening up new avenues for tourism and cultural exchange between Uzbekistan and Goa.

The introduction of the flights comes after discussions with the Embassy of Uzbekistan, tour operators and support from the Embassy of India in Tashkent, the Goa Tourism Department said. The concerted efforts of the Goa Tourism Department have played a pivotal role in making this connection a reality. To expand Goa’s global reach, the state’s Tourism Department will participate in the upcoming Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF).
