Congress Candidate List 2024: The Congress has released the first list of 32 candidates for the Haryana Assembly elections in which the names of many veterans are visible. Among them, there is a special name associated with former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav. In fact, the Congress has fielded Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son-in-law Chiranjeev Rao from the Rewari assembly seat in Haryana. He is the current MLA from this seat. The Rewari seat is considered to be the stronghold of Chiranjeev Rao’s family.
Chiranjeev Rao is married to Lalu Yadav’s daughter Anushka Yadav, who is the son of Captain Ajay Singh Yadav. Ajay Singh is counted among the veteran leaders of the Congress. He is currently serving as the OBC Congress President. He has also served as Minister for Finance, Revenue, Irrigation, Persons with Disabilities, Jail, Electricity, Forest and Social Welfare in the Government of Haryana.

After receiving the ticket from the Congress, Chiranjeev Rao said that I am going among the people and I am very much aware of their problems. There is no Congress government in the state at present, but if we get the blessings of the people, we will also come to power. All the pending works of the public will be completed.

First list of Congress published Haryana Former Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda has been named as the candidate from Garhi Sampla-Kiloi, wrestler Vinesh Phogat from Julana and state unit chief Uday Bhan from Hodal seat. The party has named Balbir Singh as its candidate from Israna (reserved) seat. Singh is the sitting MLA from Israna seat. The Congress has again given tickets to its 28 MLAs.
