On that day, a bomb stored in a suitcase exploded in the Delhi High Court.

History of September 7th: On the same day, i.e., 7 September 2011, a bomb kept in a suitcase exploded in front of Gate No. 5 of the Delhi High Court, in which 17 people were killed and 76 injured. This was a terrorist incident and the responsibility for this explosion was placed on the terrorist organisation Harkat ul Jihad al Islami (HUJI).

September 7 could have been historic because of this

The date of September 7 could have been recorded as a historic space achievement for India, when in 2019 India attempted to land the lander ‘Vikram’ on the Moon as part of its ‘Chandrayaan-2’ mission, but the lunar surface failed to make contact with the ground station at an altitude of just 2.1 kilometres. With this, many years of hard work by ISRO scientists went in vain and there was despair across the country.
