The National Testing Agency has released the provisional answer key for the UGC NET 2024 exam held in August today on 7th September 2024. Candidates appearing for the UGC NET 2024 August exam can download the answer key through the official website of NTA UGC NET ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The window for filing objections has opened today, September 7. Candidates will be able to file objections till September 9, 2024, at 11:50 PM. Candidates will be required to make an online payment of Rs 200 as processing fee to challenge the provisional answer key. The objections filed will be reviewed. Subject matter experts will verify these objections. If found correct, the answer key will be revised. For more details, read the official notification given below:

UGC NET 2024 was held from 21st August to 4th September. There will be no negative marking in this exam. No marks will be deducted for skipped questions either. 2 marks will be given for each correct answer. NET exam has been conducted for around 83 subjects in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
