SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam 2024 starts tomorrow, check out important details to remember

The Staff Selection Committee is all set to conduct the SSC CGL Tier I 2024 exam from Monday, September 9. The exam will conclude on September 26.

Specifically, candidates will be selected through a two-tier computer-based examination (CBE), followed by a round of document verification to be conducted by user departments after the declaration of results.

Candidates should note that the minimum marks to qualify in the examination are 30 per cent for unreserved candidates, 25 per cent for OBC and EWS candidates, and 20 per cent for all other categories.

It is to be noted that Level I will consist of objective multiple choice questions. Each section of the exam will have 25 questions and the maximum marks will be 50 and the questions will be asked in both English and Hindi except the English Comprehension question.

Questions will be asked on topics covering general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude and English comprehension.

In addition, there will be a negative grade of 0.50 for each incorrect answer.

The SSC, through the recruitment campaign, aims to fill approximately 17,727 vacancies.

The online registration for SSC CGL 2024 exam started from June 24 and closed on July 27, 2024. Subsequently, the application form correction window was opened from August 10 to 11, 2024.
