FT Rankings 2024: SPJIMR ranked as India’s best business school for the second consecutive year | Education

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) has once again been ranked as the best business school in India and 35th in the world in the 2024 edition of the Financial Times Masters in Management global rankings.

FT Rankings 2024: SPJIMR ranked as India’s best B-school for the second consecutive year.

It is noteworthy that this is the second consecutive time that SPJIMR has been ranked as the best business school in India and fifth among the top 50 institutions in the world for business and management studies.

The institution has been ranked 35th globally for its two-year full-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), beating IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore, which were ranked 39th and 41st respectively, a press release said.

Lauding the achievement, Dr Varun Nagaraj, Dean, SPJIMR, said the recognition reflects the institution’s commitment to creating a positive impact on business and society by promoting ‘smart innovation’.

He said: “Our consistent performance among the top 50 business schools in the world is a testament to the dedication of our faculty and professional staff, the achievements of our alumni, and the partnerships we have cultivated with industry, the social sector, and academia, nationally and internationally.”

Notably, in addition to SPJIMR, the FT Master in Management 2024 recognises 13 Indian institutions, underlining the growing global recognition of Indian business schools.

About FT Rankings 2024

The ranking evaluates programs from AACSB- or EQUIS-accredited schools designed for participants with little or no work experience. It is based on criteria including alumni career advancement, school diversity, international experience and research, and career services.
