Tom Brady’s NFL commentator debut sparks massive fan outrage

The seven-time Super Bowl champion was introduced in a new role in the Dallas Cowboys vs Cleveland Browns game, but most fans were disappointed because they didn’t like his way of commentating. Fans criticized the NFL legend on social media.
One wrote: “Maybe someone should have listened to Tom Brady’s actual words before spending $300 million on him.”
Another fan noted: “I don’t know if Tom Brady will turn out to be a bad announcer, but it’s shocking how nervous he sounds today.”
Another posted: “Tom Brady just said it’s hard to get 10 yards, but really hard to get 20. That’s what you can get with a $375 million analysis.”
People felt that the 47-year-old sounded monotonous throughout the commentary and his lack of enthusiasm and energy were some of the reasons behind his poor start to his broadcasting career.
Ahead of his NFL commentating debut, Brady seemed excited to kick off his new season. As quoted by CBS, he said, “Obviously I’m very excited. There’s a little bit of anxiety, obviously. There’s been a lot of preparation by a lot of people. And it’s been a journey for a couple of years,” Brady said. “But I think the most exciting thing for me is getting back to NFL football, being here in the booth.
