Chandigarh: The BJP has released the second list for the Haryana Assembly elections. The party had announced the names of 67 candidates from the first list. The last date for filing nominations in Haryana is September 12. The BJP has declared the names of 21 candidates from the second list. Among them, Dhanesh Adlakha got the Badkhal assembly ticket, while Harinder Singh Ramratan from Hodal and Manoj Rawat from Hathin were named as candidates.BJP’s second list for 2024 Haryana Assembly elections

BJP state president’s ticket cancelled
The BJP has cancelled the candidature of state president Mohan Lal Badoli, who was in the second list. Badauli had won from Rai seat of Sonipat district in 2019. The party has fielded Krishna Gehlawat from here. With this, BJP has fielded Captain Yogesh Bairagi from Julana seat, which was in the news due to the entry of wrestler Vinesh Phogat. In a major blow, the party has fielded State Minister Sanjay Singh from Nuh instead of Sohna. Veteran Congress leader Aftab Ahmed is the MLA from Nuh. The party has fielded Dr Krishna Kumar as its candidate instead of the current minister Dr Banwari Lal. BJP has given tickets to a total of two women from the second list. Bimla Chaudhary, a close aide of Rao Inderjit Singh, has returned to Pataudi seat.

Total of 87 candidates declared so far
BJP has declared a total of 21 names in the second list. In this, the party changed its candidate from Pehowa seat of Kurukshetra district and fielded Jai Bhagwan Sharma alias DD Sharma. In such a situation, the BJP has so far decided its candidates for 87 seats in Haryana. Now only three seats are left to announce candidates. The last date for filing nominations in the state is September 12. Voting will be held in Haryana on October 5.
