Hero MotoCorp unveils the 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V
MotoCorp Hero has launched the 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V in India, priced at Rs 1,11,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This updated model offers a more affordable option compared to its predecessor, which is likely to boost sales during the upcoming festive season.
Based on the existing Xtreme 160R platform, the 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V features a twin-valve engine setup. While the basic design remains largely unchanged, the model incorporates minor upgrades such as a revised taillight, flatter passenger seat, and a stopwatch for drag racing.
The 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V is available in a single Stealth Black colour scheme with red accents. It retains the same engine and hardware specifications as the previous model.
The Xtreme 160R 2V, powered by a 163.2cc single-cylinder engine, produces 14.79 horsepower and 14 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The model features a fully digital console with essential readouts and a stopwatch for drag racing.
In terms of braking and suspension, the Xtreme 160R 2V offers a single front disc brake and a rear drum brake, mounted on 17-inch wheels with road tires. The suspension system includes telescopic front forks and a monoshock.
The 2024 Xtreme 160R 2V competes with other popular 160cc motorcycles in the Indian market including the Honda SP160, TVS Apache RTR 160, and the Bajaj Pulsar N160.
