Four arrested for occupying a doctor’s house and clinic

Correspondent, Patna: On Monday, the police arrested four persons who came to capture the house and clinic of retired doctor Dr Jagatnand Prasad, director of LB Aparajita Clinic on Western Baring Canal Road of Shri Krishnapuri police station. These include Sanjeet Kumar of Rahimpur of Parsa Bazaar, Mangroo Kumar of Yaduvanshi Nagar of Digha and Sanjeet Kumar’s private guards Amlesh Singh and Paramjeet Singh. Amlesh and Paramjeet are originally residents of Gurudaspur, Punjab. Two licensed double-barreled pistols, one licensed pistol, one revolver, 17 magazine cartridges, four mobile phones etc. have been recovered from these persons. The police also seized the broken CCTV camera from the clinic. Based on the statement of Dr Jagatnand, a case has been registered against these four at Sri Krishnapuri police station.

Dr Jagatand and his son Dr Anshuman said that 50 armed persons forcibly entered their clinic during the day on Monday and attacked them. They took everyone hostage at gunpoint. They also locked them in the room and beat them up. When the staff came to save them, they beat them up and sexually abused the female staff. They also vandalised the clinic. They threatened to shoot him and asked him to tie him in a container and throw it into the Ganga river. Meanwhile, after receiving the information, the police arrived, thanks to which his life was saved. Dr Anshuman said that his father retired from the Bihar government. The clinic has been running for 35 years. I received a call from a mobile number and was informed that 40-50 people would come to their clinic on Monday. After this, in the morning DGP Alek went to Raj’s residence to meet him. From there he called Sri Krishnapuri Police Station and ordered them to take legal action. After this they went to Sri Krishnapuri Police Station and from there they returned to the clinic. In the meantime, those people came and entered the clinic. The CCTV camera and DVR were also damaged.
