IGNOU has extended the date for new admission and re-enrollment until July 2024

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the new admission date of July 2024 for all courses and re-registration dates till September 20. Earlier, September 10 was the registration date. Please be advised that the university has made a new extension for the second time. Students can visit the official website onlinerr.ignou.ac.in and fill the application form. As of now, re-registration for July 2024 can also be done till September 20 with a late fee of Rs 200. This extension is only for ODL and online mode, semester programmes are not included in it.

This information has been provided on the social media platform X. Under Fresh Admission, students who want to register for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Diploma and Certificate programmes can apply through ODL and online portals. For re-registration, existing students who need to re-register for the next semester or academic year can do so through the re-registration portal.

Before applying, candidates must have the following documents:

– Scanned passport-sized photo

– Scanned signature (less than 100 KB)

– Scanned documents of required educational qualification.

– Scanned copy of the experience certificate, not mandatory
