The creators of the upcoming film “Devara-Part 1” on Tuesday unveiled the trailer of the film, which revolves around bloodshed, fights and a bit of romance. The two-minute-plus trailer showcases an epic fight between the man of the masses and the Bollywood star. Saif Ali Khan.
The trailer begins with a narration and the line “Bahut lambi kahaani hai. Khoon se samundar ko laal kardene waali kahaani”, suggests that the film will have a lot of bloodshed. With electrifying action sequences and an emotional backstory, the film will see Jr NTR in dual roles as a father and son.
In a story that showcases two generations, NTR Jr plays the role of Devara, a saviour, while Saif essays shades of grey. Janhvi Kapoor, who is making her debut in Telugu films with Kortala Siva’s film, plays the role of the Telugu superstar’s love interest. However, their romance was not shown in the trailer.
In the trailer, Devara’s son is labeled as “harmless.”
Janhvi is heard saying, “She only inherited her father’s looks, not his courage.”
As the trailer progresses, Devara’s son is seen entering the arena, from which he walked away. With spectacular visuals, nail-biting action sequences and a stellar cast, the film promises to be a spectacle. What is interesting is to watch the fight between the two actors.
Set against the backdrop of a coastal land, the film is an epic actioner and tells the story of Devara, who sets out into the marine world to save the lives of his people.
Written and directed by Koratala Siva, “Devara – Part 1” also stars Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko and Narain. The film has been split into two parts and has been shot in Hyderabad, Shamshabad, Visakhapatnam and parts of Goa and Thailand.
“Devara: Part 1” is scheduled to premiere on September 27.
