CAT 2024 Registration: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta will close online registration for the Common Admission Test or CATALOGUE 2024 Tomorrow. Application forms for the test can be submitted till 5:00 pm on September 13 at iimcat.ac.in.
The entrance test will be held on November 24 and the admit cards will be issued on November 5. The result will be announced in the second week of January 2025.

To apply for CAT 2024, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 percent marks or its equivalent GPA.
For candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories, the minimum marks requirement is 45 per cent.

Candidates who are taking the final year degree examination and those who have already taken the degree examination but the results have not been announced may apply for the examination provisionally.
The application fee for CAT 2024 is ₹1250 for SC, ST and PwD candidates. For all others, the application fee is ₹2,500.
CATALOGUE 2024 The test will be conducted in 170 cities across the country. Candidates can choose up to five test cities of their choice in the application form.
The CAT 2024 exam will consist of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Quantitative Ability (QA/Quants). The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes and candidates will be given 40 minutes to answer each section. No section switching will be permitted.
CAT is a national-level examination for admission to postgraduate and PhD courses in Business Administration offered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Apart from the IIMs, several other institutes also use the exam in their admission processes.
Clearing CAT does not guarantee admission into IIMs. Candidates have to appear for further rounds of selection which include group discussions and personal interviews.
