After a long wait, JSW MG Motor India has finally launched the MG Windsor EV in India. While its ex-showroom price has not been revealed as of now, it will be available to customers at a starting price of ₹ 9.99 lakh. In addition to this, the company is offering a battery subscription program on the Windsor EV.
MG Windsor EV: Design
The MG Windsor EV looks similar to the Wuling Cloud EV. Only the brand name and logo are different from the Chinese EV. It looks large with full dimensions, while design elements include stylish LED daytime running lights attached to an LED strip. It also features illuminated brand logo, LED headlights, LED taillights integrated with LED strips, flush-mounted door handles, 18-inch aerodynamic diamond-cut alloy wheels, etc.

MG Windsor EV: Safety
The MG Windsor EV comes with a host of safety features including six airbags including dual front, side and curtain airbags. Further, it comes with four-wheel disc brakes, electric parking brake, rear parking sensors, electronic stability program (ESP), emergency stop signal (ESS), rear defogger, follow me home headlamps, seat belt reminder on all seats, power steering for all seats, there are also three-point seat belts, 360-degree surround view camera, LED cornering lights, LED rear fog lamps, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), ISOFIX, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlights, auto-dimming IRVM, etc.
MG Windsor EV: Price
MG Windsor EV has been launched at a price of ₹ 9.99 lakh. However, the company has not revealed the ex-showroom price or the complete price list of the electric vehicle. Priced at ₹ 9.99 lakh for the car, MG is offering a subscription programme for the battery pack, which is on a pay-as-you-go basis. Customers will have to pay ₹ 3.5 per kilometre for the battery. The complete price list and ex-showroom price of the Windsor EV is expected to be revealed soon.
MG Windsor EV: Test Drive, Reservation and Delivery
Test drives of the MG Windsor EV will begin from September 25, while the electric crossover will be available for booking from October 3. JSW MG Motor India has said that it aims to start deliveries of the Windsor EV from October 12.
The biggest trip for a big family, 11 people will travel together, the price is only 10 lakhs.
